Code Compliance Co. started the same way most good firehouse ideas do, around the table, between calls.

I started in the fire service in 2023 down here in South Georgia. Like a lot of departments, some of the guys put together a shirt as a joke — a little play on words, a little firehouse sarcasm. “NFPA – Not For Practical Application.” It stuck. We all laughed. And the more I looked at it, the more I realized it wasn’t just a joke, it was a mindset.

We know the standards. We respect the book. However, we also know the fireground doesn’t always read the manual.

I built this website to bring that same firehouse humor and pride to firefighters everywhere. Every design is handcrafted, not mass-produced by some big corporation that’s never stepped foot in a station. This brand is built by someone in the job, for people in the job.

This isn’t about being anti-compliance. It’s about understanding reality. It’s about brotherhood. It’s about wearing something that only another firefighter truly gets.
